We are honored to announce that our newly formed collaborative, NativeArc, has been awarded a contract for the provision of mission-driven, high quality locum tenens physicians to the Portland Area of the Indian Health Service, beginning October 1, 2020 for up to five years.

NativeArc recruits exemplary healthcare providers dedicated to improving the health of American Indians, Alaska Natives and their communities nationally, who are committed to serving rural and indigenous communities with respect, cultural humility, and a commitment to high quality patient care.

Arc Health Chief Medical Officer, RADM (ret) James Galloway, MD, asserts, “This award is an opportunity for NativeArc – and its two members Arc Health and Native American Healthcare Solutions – to further contribute in a direct and meaningful way to the improvement of the health and healthcare of Native Americans.” He adds, “We are particularly proud to focus our efforts on assisting the American Indian Tribes and communities of the Pacific Northwest in their self-determined efforts to improve the healthcare of their people.”

NativeArc is actively soliciting applications from family medicine and internal medicine physicians who are interested in serving Native communities of the Pacific Northwest.

Prospective providers should submit their interest and CV here.
